River Crossing and more…

9-16-2012 Lorain, Ohio
Yesterday we explored Day’s Dam park a little more.  Along a path off the main paved path is a grassy path labeled Water Fall Trail.  Heading west down this path we came across a sea of yellow wild flowers surrounding bluebird nesting boxes.

Heading east along a small trampled path we came across a river crossing made of rocks.

Two wold sunflowers reached toward the sun and a mushroom grows out the side of a tree.

We have only begun to scratch the surface of this fine park.  It connects to several other parks.  LifeInLorain will continue to explore and photograph as the year moves along.
