2/13/2013 Lorain, Ohio – One marvelous thing I love about about nature is the way so many of God’s creatures can blend in to their surroundings. Can you spot the deer in the picture below? He’s looking right at you.
The shot was taken yesterday from the road near a wooden lot on West River Road, about a quarter mile north of The Midway Mall.
How about the picture below… Taken from the road on River Industrial Drive. (One of the streets in the industrial park across from Discount Drug Mart on Colorado Ave on the East side of Lorain.)
I highly recommend taking a drive slowly through there when you have a chance. The industrial park is new, and yet to be occupied. The area used to be blocked off from traffic. Now the barricades have been removed and you can drive back in there. It is a beautiful drive through the woods and it is a shame it isn’t a metro park. The picture below shows a herd of deer walking back into the woods.
