1/22/14 Lorain – It was cold this morning here. When I filled my wild bird feeder it was 6 degrees (F). Total cloud cover to the east blocked the sun at sunrise. We got a dusting of snow over night. It is currently mostly sunny.
A Downy Woodpecker visited the feeder this morning around 9:30 AM.
I identified the woodpecker with the help of the bird watcher’s book National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Birds Eastern Region.
